Die of Death Achievements & Badges

The in-game Library shows 64 badges across Fun, Completion, Challenge, and Secret. Full list and 100% guide.

Die of Death tracks progression through badges (the game's name for achievements). They live in the in-game Library tab, organized into four categories. The Library shows a running total — 64 badges in total as of the August 2026 achievements update. 100% completing the game means buying every Killer, indexing every map, and unlocking every badge.

Note: Names and counts below were captured in-game (Library → Achievements) around August 2026. The full 64-badge list is partially shown here with the most commonly referenced entries; always verify against the live Library for the current total.

How to display an achievement

Direct answer: open Settings, choose Profile, then turn on Achievement Display. The option controls whether an earned achievement is shown; it does not unlock a badge or equip a skin reward.

  1. Open the game's main menu and select Settings.
  2. Choose the Profile tab.
  3. Find Achievement Display and enable it.
  4. If nothing appears, check Library > Achievements and confirm that you have already earned a badge.
Two separate controls: Achievement Inventory controls who can see your achievement inventory, while Achievement Display toggles the visible display. See the complete Settings reference.

Badge categories (in-game tabs)

Fun

Light-hearted, often luck-based tasks — silly lobby interactions, mini-game triggers, and synergy picks.

Examples: I'm Very Hungry! (eat 80 HP of hotdog), I'm Your Biggest Fan (hug the lobby fan), Violent Golf (trigger Golf Time), Karma Called (emote then die within 5s).

Completion

The core completion set — win as every Killer on every map, survive as Civilian on every map, reach playtime and kill milestones, and clear all five Killer masteries (250 kills each).

Examples: Sight Slaying, Still Standing, Bloodshed (1000 total kills), Thrill of the Hunt (250 Pursuer kills), [SYSTEM_PURGE] (250 Badware kills).

Challenge

Skill-based tasks that require specific in-round actions — rerolling, buffing teammates, multi-computer setups, and clutch blocks.

Examples: Luck of the Draw (reroll 5 times), Mann Vs Machine (4 Badware computers), Don't Call It A Comeback! (block a lethal hit).

? Secret ?

Hidden badges with cryptic descriptions. Their unlock conditions are not shown in the Library — some are widely reported as not yet publicly solved.

Examples: Water Baby ("Ma, dry me thy carcass."), My spine hurts every night, KABOOM! ("I have one last card up my sleeve!").

Killer masteries (Completion category)

Each Killer has a mastery badge that requires 250 kills on that Killer. These sit in the Completion tab, not a separate category.

What it takes to 100%

To fully complete Die of Death you need three things from the Library:

  1. Buy every Killer — all five are required (Pursuer, Kill Droid, Harken, Badware, Artful).
  2. Index every map — win as both Civilian and Killer across all maps in rotation.
  3. Unlock every badge — across the Fun, Completion, Challenge, and Secret categories (64 total).

Public 100% speedrun attempts report roughly 10–12 days of normal play. The Secret category (e.g. "Water Baby") has unlock conditions that are not shown in-game and were widely reported as unsolved for a period — those can stall a true 100%.
