Badware corrupts everything it touches. Virus spread, tech disruption, and digital chaos.
Overview
Badware is the anti-tech Pursuer. Its virus abilities disable Survivor items, hack objectives to slow progress, and spread between nearby Survivors. Badware punishes grouped-up teams.
Abilities
Virus Spread
Infect a Survivor with a virus. After 3 seconds, the virus jumps to all Survivors within 10 studs. Infected Survivors take 3 damage/second and cannot heal for the duration (8 seconds).
System Hack
Hack an objective to increase its completion time by 50% for 15 seconds. Survivors interacting with a hacked objective are revealed. Hack multiple objectives to stall the entire team.
EMP Pulse
Release an EMP that disables all Survivor items within a large radius for 4 seconds. Flashbangs fizzle, Decoys short out, Smoke dissipates.
Strategy
- • Virus the healer first. Denying heals snowballs fights.
- • Hack the farthest objective. Force Survivors to rotate across the map.
- • EMP when grouped. If you see 2+ Survivors together, pop EMP and engage.
- • Don't chase Artful. Her items counter Badware. Target other Survivors.
