Badware is a Snowballer Killer in Die of Death — a low-mobility entity that gets stronger the longer the round goes on. Costs 700 Points to unlock.
In-game description: "Badware is one of the many Entities originating from the Toolbox, and the sole culprit for the mass breakout that occurred at the TASF. While its creation is unknown, it possesses the anomalous ability to inject a powerful virus into nearby machinery, gaining the ability to take full control of those infected machines, expanding its own strength and influence further."

Swing
Badware's basic melee Swing — a short-ranged slash used to pressure single targets and finish low-HP Civilians. Badware's low WalkSpeed (6.75) makes clean Swing hits hard to land without setup.
Firewall Bypass
Badware's signature setup ability. Infects nearby machinery (doors, props, map tech) and brings it under Badware's control. As more machines are infected, Badware's influence grows — that's what makes Badware a Snowballer: small early pressure turns into a map-wide threat late round.
Bolt
A short-burst offensive ability that zaps a target with a virus payload, adding to Badware's stacking pressure. Bolt is Badware's main way to convert map control into kills.
Rift
A mobility / positioning ability that lets Badware traverse the map through its infected-machine network. Pair with Firewall Bypass for fast re-positioning once you have a few nodes up.
How to play Badware
- Snowball early. Badware's 6.75 WalkSpeed is the slowest Killer — win the early game by stacking Firewall Bypass nodes, not by chasing.
- 1010 HP is the highest in the roster — don't waste it. Trade only when you have Bolt ready.
- Rift gives you the mobility your WalkSpeed lacks once you've set up machines — abuse infected routes for flanks.
- Play multi-level maps (Grandma's Backyard, Augury Exhibition) where machinery nodes stack faster.
- Avoid open chases — Badware loses to open-ground Pursuer and Killdroid.
