Killdroid — Zoner Killer with IGNORANCE

Stats, abilities and tips for Killdroid, the rogue government bodyguard prototype.

Killdroid is a Zoner Killer in Die of Death — built around controlling map space with deployable tech and the unique IGNORANCE passive, which lets Killdroid bypass map barriers no other Killer can. Costs 900 Points to unlock.

In-game description: "Killdroid is an experimental robotic bodyguard prototype that was planned to be mass produced by the Government to watch over and protect Civilians. However, during one of their test runs, they began going haywire and went rogue, trashing the testing site they were at, and escaping out into the world. The Government still doesn't know the cause of its malfunction, and all mass production efforts have been put on hiatus until further notice."

Passive: IGNORANCE

"PROCESSING COMMAND… COMMAND OVERRULED."

Killdroid has the unique property of being able to bypass any map barriers — both beneficial and detrimental. Killdroid can take routes and shortcuts no other Killer can. This is the single biggest reason Killdroid is restricted from H.Q in some modes — IGNORANCE routes would trivialise that map's stealth design.

Mastery unlock: 250 Kills.

Abilities

Eject

A short-range dash/blast that propels Killdroid away from danger or into a fight. Use Eject to close a chase fast — it's Killdroid's main repositioning tool.

Flight

Killdroid's signature mobility ability — vertical / aerial movement that lets it traverse the map in ways no other Killer can. Flight is how Killdroid turns vertical maps like Grandma's Backyard into its hunting grounds.

Deploy

Places a deployable piece of Killdroid tech on the map. Deployables are the core of Killdroid's Zoner kit — they hold territory and force Civilians to take alternate paths.

Propel

An offensive ability that propels a Civilian away (knockback) or toward a hazard — useful for separating grouped survivors and finishing off isolated targets.

How to play Killdroid

  • Place Deployables early — they hold space, so dropping them at chokepoints makes chases much easier.
  • Use IGNORANCE routes — those map-bypass shortcuts are unique to Killdroid. Take them for surprise flanks.
  • Flight + Eject combo is Killdroid's best chase combo — vertical into horizontal.
  • Best on Temple and Tundra Trench where Deployables and Flight cover open sightlines.
  • Killdroid is restricted from H.Q — IGNORANCE would break that map's design.

FAQ

How much does Killdroid cost in Die of Death?+

What is the IGNORANCE passive on Killdroid?+

IGNORANCE lets Killdroid bypass any map barriers — taking routes and shortcuts no other Killer can. Both a strength (flank routes) and a weakness (Killdroid is restricted from H.Q because of it).

Zoner. Killdroid uses Deployables + Flight to control vertical and chokepoint space, then closes chases with Eject and Propel.
