Mequot Guide
Mequot is the shadow. Invisible strikes, silent movement, and the element of surprise.
Overview
Mequot is the stealth assassin Pursuer. With invisibility, silent footsteps, and a devastating backstab mechanic, Mequot punishes Survivors who isolate themselves or stop paying attention. High skill floor, terrifying skill ceiling.
Abilities
Cloak
Turn invisible for 8 seconds. Attacking or using abilities breaks cloak. Survivors within 5 studs can hear a faint hum. Move unpredictably to avoid being tracked by sound.
Backstab
Attacking from behind deals 3x damage. A single backstab can down a full-HP Survivor. Position is everything — cloak, circle behind, strike.
Shadow Step
Teleport to any shadowed area (dark corners, under objects) within 40 studs. No sound, no visual cue. Use it to reposition after a failed ambush.
Ambush Strategy
- Pick isolated targets. Never engage 2+ Survivors. Wait for one to split off.
- Ambush at objectives. Survivors are locked in interaction animations — free backstab.
- Cloak → Circle → Strike. The classic combo. Don't approach from the front.
- Shadow Step to escape. If you miss the backstab, don't commit. Reset and try again.
